GENERAL POLICIES

We are pet lovers and so our mission is to make sure your four-legged friends feel as comfortable as possible while you are away. Not only we provide a nice environment, but also we will take the necessary precautions to protect your pet(s) from any harm.

Before we start a pet visit or cage free boarding, we must schedule a CONSULTATION between the pet owner, pet and the pet sitter to protect the well being of all parties. No exceptions. During the consultation, we need to verify your pet(s) are current with all shots, determine their temperament and discuss their regular routine.

All pets MUST be under a flea and tick control and heartworm preventative treatment. No exceptions.

We prefer you schedule your service at least 72 hours in advance so we will have enough time to perform the consultation and to get the key to your home (if the service is pet visits or house sitting).

RATES POLICIES

In-Home Cage Less Dog Boarding

Our rates are based on weight, age and sterilization. Adults must be fully potty trained and house broken, friendly with other dogs, people and children. Boarding rates start at $30 per dog for 24 Hr Boarding.

DISCOUNTS

$10 Off on your second dog; $15 on your third dog. Discounts DO NOT applied on Holiday Weekends.

7 Day Stay get 5% Discount; 14 Day Stay get 10% Discount; 21 Day Stay get 15% Discount.

SURCHARGES

Puppies up to one year old $5

Females in heat $5

We only accept non-neutered puppies up to a year of age.

HOLIDAY RATES

An additional $5 per day will be added to the regular rate on every Holiday Day in the United States. 

CANCELLATION POLICIES

To guarantee your spot with us we recommend payment in full at the time of reservation. Once we are booked, if your reservation has not been paid, we CAN NOT guarantee Boarding OR Pet Sitting service.

Cancellations during a NON-Major Holiday

Payment will be refunded in full (less consultation fee) if you cancel the reservation during a NON-Major Holiday with at least 72 hours of notice.

If you cancel with less than 72 hours of notice during a NON-Major Holiday, a nonrefundable credit (less consultation fee) will be held for 90 days from the date of issue.

Cancellations during a Major Holiday

If you cancel the reservation with at least 72 hours of notice during a Major Holiday, a nonrefundable credit (less consultation fee) will be held for 90 days from the date of issue.

No credit or refund of payment is available if you cancel the reservation during a Major Holiday with less than 72 hours of notice.

Broward Pet Sitting requires at least 12 hours notice for Daily Dog Walking Cancellation. If client cancels the walk with less than 12 hours of notice, the client will be responsible for paying for the scheduled walk(s).

EARLY RETURNS / LAST MINUTE CHANGES

It is not unusual for trip plans to change at the last minute. However, please understand that BPS carefully schedules bookings for you and our other clients. Therefore, there are NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS for early returns or last minute changes to pet care services.

MINIMUM VISIT POLICY

BPS has a minimum visit policy to comply with our insurance policy and for the health and well-being of our client’s pet(s). Client’s pet(s) must be visited every 24 hours. For pet(s) without access to potty area (ie. pet door, pee pads, or litter box), BPS recommends at least three daily visits. If the client requests only two visits for dogs, client understands that BPS has a $10 clean up fee for every occurrence.

BPS has a minimum three pet sitting visits policy for first time clients.

FORM OF PAYMENT

Payment for Boarding Services is due prior to services rendered.

BPS accepts payments in cash, check or with a credit card. However, we ONLY accept payments by check if we have serviced the client in the past. A $35 processing fee applies for checks returned by the bank.

BPS now accepts both debit, credit cards and PayPal. There will be an additional 3% to 3.5% Surcharge for this service.

Any additional charges incurred during the service will be added to your invoice and payment is due upon completion of service.

Payment for Pet Sitting and/or House Sitting Visits shall be made to BPS in full when reservation is made, prior to services rendered.

REQUIRED VACCINATIONS

For the safety of your own pets and the pets boarded with us, please provide proof of vaccinations up to date every time you board your pets in our home(s). As per our insurance, all pets must be fully vaccinated and current with the following:

Canine Vaccinations

Rabies (1 Yr or 3 Yr accepted)

DHPP which stands for D=Canine Distemper H=Hepatitis P=Parainfluenza P=Canine Parvo (1 Yr or 3 Yr accepted)

Bordetella (within 6 months)

Negative Fecal Test within 3 Months

Feline Vaccinations

Rabies & FVRCP (1 Yr or 3 Yr accepted)

BPS requires that pets are current with at least rabies vaccine for pet sitting services.

HOURS OF OPERATION

BPS has established the following hours of operation for Boarding Services:

Drop off & Pick up

Monday – Friday 7:30AM – 8:00PM

Saturday & Sunday 9:00AM – 8:00PM

Pet Sitting Visits

BPS pet sitting start performing pet sitting visits as early as 7:30AM until 9:00PM

REFERRAL PROGRAM

For every new client you refer to us and after first service is performed, we will credit your account with $25 towards Boarding Services or Free Pet Sitting Visit.
